Instructions
Craft Time: ~45 minutes
Assemble the Birds:
- Prepare the glue bottle: Open the lid, remove the stopper, and screw the valve cap back on.
- Determine which block you want to start with and remove all contents from the bag.
- Lay out all the bird cutouts on a flat surface. Each bird includes a base (full bird silhouette) that will be used to piece all the pieces together.
-
It may be helpful to arrange all the pieces on the silhouette base before you begin gluing so you have an idea of where everything belongs. This will ensure you apply glue to the correct side of each piece. (Refer to the photo insert included in the box to see how all the pieces fit together.)
Tip: Go sparingly with the glue when you’re gluing the birds together. Too much glue will take longer to dry and could cause the bird to curl when finished, making it more difficult to attach it to the block when you’re ready. - Start out with a piece that will be easy to align on the base, like a tailpiece. Add a few drops of glue to the back of the piece and place it on the silhouette base, making sure you’re aligning everything up correctly.
- Move on to the next cutout and piece your bird together.
- When you’re finished with the first bird, set it aside to dry and move on to the next two birds (located inside the bubblewrap of the other blocks). We will attach all the birds to their colored blocks at the last step.

Attach the Birds to the Blocks:
-
If any of the birds have curled, gently bend them back into shape so they lie as flat as possible.
-
The birds will be attached to blocks in the following order:
-
Bird 1 - Eucalyptus Block
-
Bird 2 - Nectar Block
-
Bird 3 - Pistachio Block
-
-
Turn the bird over and carefully peel off the adhesive backing.
-
For extra hold, add a small amount of glue to any areas without adhesive. Pay special attention to the bird’s feet so these delicate pieces attach securely to the block.
-
Place the block on a flat surface, making sure it is facing the correct direction - the lighter color should be facing up.
-
Carefully position the bird onto the block and press firmly, especially around the feet and edges, to ensure a secure bond. Hold the bird in place for several seconds - particularly in areas without adhesive - until the glue begins to set.
-
Repeat these steps with the remaining birds and their corresponding blocks.
Display Your Piece
