Instructions

Craft Time: ~1.5 hours total (~15 minutes per card)

For Each Card

  • Fold the card along the score line, with the small bump on the inside. Use the bone folder for a crisp fold.

  • Prepare the glue bottle: Open the lid, remove the stopper, and screw the valve cap back on.

  • Use a small amount of glue to prevent paper warping.

  • Lay out all pieces before attaching them. Follow the steps below for the correct layering order.

  • Foam adhesives: Use wherever you’d like to add dimension.

  • Inside sentiments: These are optional. Add them if you’d like!

Card #1: Deck the Halls

  • Attach the “Deck the halls” pieces to their outlines using foam adhesive.

  • Glue the green leaves over their outlines.

  • Add red enamel berries over each white outline on the card front.

Card #2: Merry Christmas

  • Glue the green leaves over their green outlines. Glue the gold foil stems over their dark blue outlines.

  • Glue the pink magnolia flowers over their outlines.

  • Glue the large red poinsettia leaves over their outlines. Attach the small poinsettia centers using foam adhesive.

  • Glue the blue banner to the cardfront, covering the outline. Attach the “Merry Christmas” piece on top using foam adhesive.

Card #3: Holly Jolly

  • Attach the “Holly Jolly” pieces to their outlines using foam adhesive.

  • Glue the green leaves over their outlines.

  • Add red enamel berries over each white outline on the card front.

Card #4: Merry & Bright

  • Glue the green leaves over their outlines.

  • Attach the pink flowers to the centers of the green leaves using foam adhesive.

  • Add enamel circles to the card front wherever you’d like.

Card #5: O Holy Night

  • Glue the green wreath to the card front, aligning the edges of the wreath with the card base.

  • Glue the red bow strings over the green outline. Attach the bow loops using foam adhesive. Cut the foam adhesive in half, if needed, to keep it from showing.

  • Glue the “O Holly Night” piece to the left side of the card, straightening the letters as needed.

  • Add white enamel shapes to the wreath wherever you’d like.

Card #6: Love & Joy

  • Glue the small green leaves to the light green “Joy” outline piece, following the pale green outlines.

  • Glue a berry over each circle outline. Add berries to the large dark green leaf piece using foam adhesive for dimension.

  • Glue the red “Joy” piece to the green “Joy” cutout.

  • Fold the cream “Joy” outline piece along all score lines, folding backward.

  • Glue the finished red “Joy” piece to the cream “Joy” outline.

  • Turn the cream “Joy” piece over and attach the large dark green leaf piece to the back using foam adhesive. Align the bottom edges and make sure the berries face the front. Set aside.

  • Gently curl the leaves on the large light green leaf piece with the bone folder. Attach it to the “Love and” piece using foam adhesive, aligning the bottom edges.

  • With the cream “Joy” piece still face down, turn over the “Love and” piece and align it with the left adhesive strip in the crease. Remove the adhesive backing, add two small dots of glue, and fold the strip over the “Love and” piece to secure.

  • Shift the “Love and” piece to the right and repeat with the adhesive strip on the other side.

  • Choose a card back—with or without a sentiment—and glue it to the back of the card.
