For Each Card
-
Fold the card along the score line, with the small bump on the inside. Use the bone folder for a crisp fold.
-
Prepare the glue bottle: Open the lid, remove the stopper, and screw the valve cap back on.
-
Use a small amount of glue to prevent paper warping.
-
Lay out all pieces before attaching them. Follow the steps below for the correct layering order.
-
Foam adhesives: Use wherever you’d like to add dimension.
-
Inside sentiments: These are optional. Add them if you’d like!
Card #1: There For You
-
Attach the “I’ll Be There for You” pieces over their outlines using foam adhesive.
-
Add three clear enamel dots to the card front wherever you’d like.
Card #2: Get Well Soon
-
Align and glue pieces #1, #2, and #3 together, with #1 on the bottom and #3 on top.
-
Glue the white flower on top of the layered piece.
-
Glue the finished layered piece to the card front, following the outline.
-
Add three clear enamel dots to the card front wherever you’d like.
Card #3: All My Love
-
Glue each flower over its outline on the “All My Love” piece.
-
Attach the “All My Love” piece to the gold foil piece using foam adhesive. Foam adhesive is recommended here, as glue may not hold securely to the foil over time.
-
Attach the finished “All My Love” piece to the card front using foam adhesive.
-
Add three clear enamel dots to the card front wherever you’d like.
Card #4: Big Hugs
-
Place the card with the flower flap on the right, opening toward the right.
-
Glue the green leaves over the matching printed leaves.
-
Glue the blue flowers over the matching printed flowers.
-
Glue the pink flowers over the matching printed flowers. Use the faint letter outlines on the flowers to help position them correctly for the “Big Hugs” piece.
-
Glue the vellum “Big Hugs” piece over the letter outlines. Apply small dots of glue behind the blue lettering so the adhesive won’t show through the vellum.
-
Add three clear enamel dots wherever you’d like.
Card #5: Thinking of You
-
Glue the “Thinking of You” piece to the green outline piece.
-
Attach the pink and blue flowers over the green outlines using foam adhesive. Place the large blue and small pink flowers at the top, and the large pink and small blue flowers at the bottom.
-
Attach the finished “Thinking of You” piece to the card front using foam adhesive.
-
Add three clear enamel dots wherever you’d like.
Card #6: Here for You
-
Fold all score lines in an accordion pattern. Use the bone folder for crisp folds.
-
Peel the protective film from both sides of the acetate sheet. Remove the adhesive backing from one section of the card front frame, carefully align and attach the acetate, then remove the remaining backings and press to secure.
-
Match the coordinating leaves and flower pieces. Layer each flower using foam adhesive.
-
Attach the finished flowers to the card front, covering the outlines.
-
Add three clear enamel dots wherever you’d like.
-
Lay the card face down and gently press the side accordion flap closed to flatten the card. Then peel off the adhesive backing on the flap, apply a small amount of glue, and press it closed. This will help the card close flat and fit into the envelope.
-
Glue your choice of card back—with or without a sentiment—over the back of the card, covering the accordion flap seam.
